One fabulous thing about Cannes, besides the parties, is the shopping. I had never seen a RED Valentino boutique in the U.S. before, but I found one in Cannes, and this dress, which is on sale here. RED Valentino reminds me of clothing from the 1950s/1960s era – high quality, feminine, and dainty … which has kind of died off these days. A little on the pricier side, but the quality is undoubtedly good. I just love their sweet & feminine silhouettes. A lot of RED Valentino is actually on sale for 40% OFF+ at Shopbop here and at Nordstrom here – get it before it’s gone! xxo
It’s been a solid month since I have blogged.. exactly. I feel like such a bad blogger. The truth is, after my France trip for a couple weeks, I had to catch up on my day job + life. But, I will be sharing some pictures from Cannes this week. The film festival was absolutely amazing. My favorite movies I saw were Saint Laurent (about Yves Saint Laurent) and Maps to the Stars. I wore this Tory Burch dress (on sale now) a couple of times in Cannes, since I was there for nearly two weeks, and it was such an easy throw on dress. Anyways, happy Monday!! xxxo
Wow is it going to be hot today! Moving in to summer, I am loving coral tones and bright colors, like this 4.collective dress. Baublebar sent me this necklace a little while ago, as part of there Baublebar x Anthropologie collection, and I am loving it, especially with the matching coral color of the dress above. It is also such a fun piece to throw on with a v-neck tee and jeans or cut-offs. The BaubleBar x Anthropologie collection is still available online. See some of my favorites below.
Also, I am currently loving the brand 4.collective. You may have seen this dress here. See more of my favorites here:
This past Sunday, after the #rsthecon came to an end, I headed to the Dallas Arts District with Janie & Ellen of The Perennial Style. We had so much fun snapping pictures and playing by yet another #DallasBIG sign – there are so many around the city! After the Arts District, we went to Pat Green’s The Rustic. The deviled eggs and beer list. OMG. I loved this place! Over all, it was a fab Sunday! xx Images via Ellen Flowers
For the first day of the #rSthecon, I wanted to wear something semi-businessy for brand meetings, but also something fun and flirty. This 4.collective dress has been a great and very versatile find. It can be worn to work, dressed up at night, or dressed down with flat black sandals. And, it happens to be on sale at Shopbop right now (but only a few sizes left)! One thing I adore about this 4.collective is the fit of their clothing – and the fact that a lot of their dresses come in solid colors. Although this dress is not solid, I love the color blocking, and anything cheetah of course! A big thanks to Jessica of My Style Vita for taking this pictures. SHOP THE POST:
Jack Rogers is traditionally known for their iconic navajo sandal, but, this Spring they have introduced the Contessa D’orsay flat. These flats are a great transition in to Spring, while temperatures are still not quite “sandal weather”. I just adore this beige and navy pair. I am having a moment with anything navy. Which pair is your favorite?

Everyone knows Diane von Furstenberg is a fashion icon, but how cool is the Wrap40 celebration? For those of you that don’t know, 2014 marks the 40th anniversary of the iconic “wrap dress”. Watch the DVF Pop Wrap + Andy Warhol here. What do you think of all the celebration items? I’m in love.

Izzy and I, or I really should just say “I”, have not mastered the jumping shots. Partially because I do not have ups. Last time I tried to do this here with tennis shoes on, it was much easier! Anyways, I thought this laid back patterning meshing look was perfect for hump day! I’ve said time and time again I love pattern mixing – leopard + anything, stripes + polka dots, florals + stripes, etc. Keep it interesting. Happy hump day! XXO
