It was apparent from the Oscars last night that white gowns are setting the trend for Spring. I absolutely LOVE a white gown – it gives a women a very clean and Grecian look. My favorite white gown of the evening was (of course) Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford. Paltrow said on the carpet that this was her “Jackie O moment,” and I couldn’t agree more. This is a very timeless and classic look that is sure to be on the best dressed lists of the Oscar’s for years to come.

Speaking of white gowns, I recently wore a white gown to the 32nd Annual Telfair Ball this past Saturday:
I wore a gown by BCBG Max Azria, which I chose because the theme of the ball this year was “Illume”. Since Illume is synonymous for making something “lighter” or “brighter,” I thought white would be the perfect color. This gown also attracted me because I love the meshed cutouts. With this gown, I went for a neutral approach for my accessories, which included: Nude Sam Edelman Pumps, a Zambos & Siega Rose Gold Metallic Clutch, Made Her Think Stud Pointed Earrings, and an Ivory Faux Fur Shrug by Gaucho in Savannah.
Stay tuned for more pictures that I have from the ball and more details of my mom and my outfits!
